STRATAGLASS WEBSITE

Introduced in 1994, Strataglass™ is a premium, flexible (it rolls up!) coated vinyl sheet engineered to resist the damaging effects from the sun's rays, environmental fallout, and scratching from handling. It also blocks out the spectrum of UV light. Strataglass™ is the only proven scratch-resistant coated vinyl on the market.

General Product Warranty
There is no specific warranty on the prodcuts Strataglass™ produces, beyond the following:

1. Strataglass™ will replace, at no charge, any product found to be faulty upon inspection or during fabrication, provided that all of the material requested to be replaced is returned, whether cut or not.

2. Products found to have failed in the field within an unreasonably short period of time will be replaced, upon inspection and agreement it was an "undue" failure. Cases must be considered on an individual basis, and it will be at the discretion of the manufacturer as to whether the situation is warrantable. For more details on the warranty, visit www.strataglass.com/warranty.

Care and Maintenance
It is extremely important fabricators and vessel owners read and understand this information.

We recommend using only IMAR Products. IMAR Strataglass Protective Polish (Marine Tops Price - $29.95), IMAR Strataglass Protective Cleaner (Marine Tops Price - $27.95), and mild soap on Strataglass™. (We no longer recommend the use of any other products, regardless of the manufacturer's claims.) Use of harsh cleaners like Simple Green and/or pine will dull the curtains quickly. Using any other product(s) void the factory warranty.

NEVER use a wash and wax product on Strataglass.

- Warning - Use of RAINEX, Pledge, or Plexus on Strataglass™ appears to work for a short time but then dulls the surface and presents an "Orange Peel" effect. Do not use any of these products.

*Use of cleaners, polishes, scratch removers, or any other product made for regular, un-coated vinyl will damage Strataglass™. Do not use these products

* DO NOT HANDLE STRATAGLASS™ (OR ANY VINYL) WITH SUNSCREEN ON YOUR HANDS! This will permanently cloud the vinyl where handled

There is much more important information rearding the care and maintenance of Strataglass™ available at www.strataglass.com/care.
